Report: Swansea City demand £19m for Wilfried Bony

A report suggests that Liverpool's potential move for Wilfried Bony has hit trouble as Swansea City are demanding £19m for the striker.

Swansea City are demanding £19m from Liverpool for striker Wilfried Bony, according to a report.

The Reds have pinpointed the Ivory Coast international as one of their top targets to replace Luis Suarez, who left the club to join Barcelona last week.

However, the potential move for Bony has hit trouble as Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins is unwilling to budge from his valuation, despite the efforts of the player's advisors to try to engineer a move, reports The Mirror.

Bony scored 16 goals in the Premier League last season in his first campaign in England.
