Huw Jenkins: 'Defensive signings unlikely'

Swansea City are unlikely to sign any more defenders this summer, according to the Welsh club's chairman Huw Jenkins.

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has admitted that the Welsh club are unlikely to sign any more defenders this summer.

The Swans have been linked with a number of defensive reinforcements in recent weeks, but with Ashley Williams now staying in Wales, Jenkins has played down talk of arrivals.

"I think Garry [Monk] has got his four central defenders and until that changes, that's the way it will stay," the Swansea chairman told the Evening Post.

Chico Flores is also expected to remain with the club this summer despite talk of a move.
