Liverpool have announced that Tyler Morton has signed for Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan deal.
The highly-rated 19-year-old earned a number of opportunities to impress under Jurgen Klopp last term and made nine senior appearances for the Reds in total.
Morton also enjoyed a productive Premier League 2 campaign with a goal and four assists from 20 outings, and he will drop down to the Championship for the 2022-23 campaign.
Liverpool had reportedly halted plans to send Morton out on loan after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain suffered a serious hamstring injury, which could keep the 28-year-old out of action for up to three months.
However, the teenager's temporary switch to Ewood Park has now gone through, and he follows the likes of Conor Bradley, Billy Koumetio, Owen Beck and Rhys Williams out on loan from Anfield.
Morton collected FA Cup and EFL Cup winners' medals with Liverpool last term and also started two Champions League matches against Porto and AC Milan.
