Jack Marriott signs Luton Town extension

Striker Jack Marriott agrees a 12-month contract extension with League Two side Luton Town.

Jack Marriott has extended his contract with Luton Town until the summer of 2017.

The 20-year-old only arrived at Kenilworth Road from Ipswich Town in May, when he signed a 12-month deal.

However, his performances since then have convinced manager John Still to offer the striker extended terms.

"It feels really great to get the extra year, so there's more security now so I can really push on and concentrate on my football more than anything," he told the club's official website.

Marriott has scored two goals for Luton so far, both of which came in the recent 3-1 League Cup win over Bristol City.
