Mainz 05 scored four second-half goals as they came from two down to beat Hoffenheim 4-2 in the Bundesliga.

The game's first goal didn't come until the second half when Hoffenheim's Eugen Polanski fired in a good effort from outside of the box, which nestled in the top right corner.

The hosts found themselves 2-0 ahead in the 57th minute, this time as Roberto Firmino sought headlines of his own with another strike from distance.

However, the visitors pulled one back through Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in the 67th minute to get the comeback underway.

Mainz then produced two goals in the space of two minutes to put themselves 3-2 ahead, thanks to efforts from Benedikt Saller and Shinji Okazaki.

Okazaki rounded off an outstanding comeback for the away side during injury time as he made it 4-2, having been played in by Nicolai Muller on the counter.
