Duda brace wins it for Sevilla

Duda's late goal is enough for Malaga to take all three points against Sevilla in a thrilling game at La Rosaleda.

A late Duda goal has given Malaga a 3-2 victory over Sevilla at home and has enhanced their chances of avoiding relegation from La Liga this season.

The first real chance of the game fell to Jose Antonio Reyes, who was picked out by Coke inside the box, but his strike was saved by Wilfredo Caballero in the Malaga goal.

Minutes later, the hosts had a real opportunity of their own. Left-back Antunes unleashed a shot from distance, but his effort ended up going wide of goal.

Malaga eventually made the breakthrough on the half-hour mark, with Duda scoring from the penalty spot after being awarded a spot kick following a challenge from Coke in the area.

Los Boquerones couldn't hold onto their advantage, however, as Vitolo played in Carlos Bacca to finish off his 10th league goal of the season into the bottom corner.

Unai Emery's men nearly added a second shortly after, although Caballero pulled off a good save to prevent winger Vitolo from close range, with Alberto Moreno hitting the follow-up well wide.

The away side weren't to be denied again, though, as Fazio headed home an Ivan Rakitic free kick to silence the home supporters.

Like Malaga, Sevilla struggled to hold onto their goal advantage, and Bernd Schuster's relegation-threatened side hit back through Samu's long-range effort, which found the top corner of the net to level the match.

There was to be one more late twist in the game, however. Duda collected a loose ball inside the box and smashed it into the top corner to give Malaga all three points.
