Edin Dzeko returns to the Manchester City lineup for tonight's match against Villarreal, while Sergio Aguero is only deemed fit enough to start on the bench.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has only been deemed fit enough for a place on the bench during tonight's Champions League match with Villarreal at the Etihad Stadium.

Edin Dzeko has returned to the starting lineup and will play as a lone frontman, while Adam Johnson has retained his place from Saturday's 4-1 victory over Aston Villa.

For the visiting Spanish side, former Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi will play up front, supported by attacking midfielder Cani.
