Sergio Aguero has set his sights on hitting the 200-goal milestone for Manchester City after becoming the club's all-time leading goalscorer earlier this week.
The Argentina international surpassed Erik Brook's 78-year record by scoring his 178th goal in City colours in the 4-2 win against Napoli on Wednesday night.
Aguero is hoping to add more goals to his tally before his Etihad Stadium contract expires, although there remains confusion over when his current terms come to an end.
"200 goals? Maybe. I hope so! There's no limit, for me every goal is important," he told reporters. "But the important thing is to keep going in this way that I think is a good level."
Asked to clarify how long he has remaining on his City contract, the 29-year-old added: "I don't know, I don't remember. It is 2019 I think but I'll have to check again."
Despite writing his name in City folklore, Aguero may miss out on a starting spot against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
