Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has suggested that club director Brian Marwood should criticise the Italy international to his face as opposed to speaking to the media.
Marwood recently hinted that Balotelli was not a good role model by saying, "we all know who we are talking about" but the businessman did not mention the controversial frontman by name.
"I'm fine at City even though there are people who like to talk in the newspapers, instead of saying certain things to my face," said Balotelli. "I don't give a damn.
"With [Roberto] Mancini, all goes well. We have a good relationship even though someone always tries to put discord among us. We love each other."
Marwood's comments were made a few days after Balotelli stormed down the tunnel after being taken off in City's 3-0 win over Sunderland.
