Manchester City players will state that they did not hear Carlos Tevez refuse to play during the side's Champions League match against Bayern Munich, according to reports.
The club have launched an investigation into the striker's alleged refusal to play and will consult the players who were near to the Argentina international during the incident.
Despite City boss Roberto Mancini revealing that the frontman snubbed the chance to come on as a substitute in midweek, Tevez's fellow teammates are expected to deny that they heard his refusal, according to the Daily Mail.
The 27-year-old is currently serving a two-week suspension from the North West club.
