Manchester City win the Premier League following their 3-2 victory over Queens Park Rangers.

Manchester City have won the Premier League after they defeated Queens Park Rangers 3-2 on Sunday.

City topped the Premier League on goal difference as they entered the final round of fixtures, and secured the win that they needed to hold off Manchester United, who also won 1-0 at Sunderland.

City and United had shared first spot in the table for much of the season, but City's strong end to the campaign secured them the silverware.

Both clubs finished on 89 points, but City's goal difference eventually proved crucial.

It is the club's first league title in 44 years.
