Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany could be fit to play against Sunderland on Saturday following a hamstring injury.
The Belgian has missed City's last four matches after he picked up the problem against Sporting Lisbon at the start of the month.
"Just had my second training session with the team," the defender tweeted. "If all goes to plan I will be available for the Sunderland game."
The Blues can temporarily return to the top of the Premier League table with a win at the Etihad Stadium this weekend.
