Roberto Mancini has criticised the defensive performance of his Manchester City side against Sunderland this afternoon.
City required late strikes from Mario Balotelli and Aleksandar Kolarov to secure a 3-3 draw at the Etihad Stadium.
Having seen his team lose ground in the title race, Mancini bemoaned City's display at the back.
"It was a crazy game, a very emotional game," he told BBC Sport. "We didn't play well but we have a chance again.
"It was very important to play well but we didn't. We defended very badly. We made mistakes. I'm not happy with our performance."
City are now two points behind leaders and rivals Manchester United, who have a game in hand.
