Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini suggests that Sergio Aguero could feature in the club's Premier League encounter with Stoke City after recovering from an ankle injury.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has suggested that striker Sergio Aguero could make his return from injury against Stoke City this weekend.

The Argentina international began training this week after he was sidelined with an ankle injury, which he picked up during City's 3-2 win over Southampton on the opening day of the season.

"We will try with Sergio this morning," Mancini said in a press conference.

When asked if the 24-year-old could feature at the Britannia Stadium tomorrow, the Italian boss said: "Maybe."

Mancini went on to say that he has yet to decide on his starting XI for this weekend's encounter.
