Diego Maradona wants Sergio Aguero to move back to Madrid.

Football legend Diego Maradona is adamant that son-in-law Sergio Aguero needs to move to Real Madrid.

Maradona, who is currently managing Dubai outfit Al Wasl, believes that the Manchester City forward should consider a move to the Santiago Bernabeu after choosing the Etihad Stadium last summer.

Maradona said: "Kun has to play for Real Madrid.

"Even though he is flying at City, the best thing would have been to sign for Madrid. He made a mistake.

"Now, as he is doing so well, it will be difficult to get him from City. However if Madrid want someone, they get them. Florentino has no limits. It's a question of convincing City - but not with money because they have plenty of that."

Aguero is City's top scorer this season with 17 Premier League goals.
