Samir Nasri: 'Manchester City are not scared of Chelsea

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri says that his side have no reason to fear Chelsea in the Premier League title race.

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has said that his side have no reason to fear Chelsea in the Premier League title race.

The Citizens are currently six points behind the Blues in the table, but Nasri is confident they can retake the lead if they win their two games in hand.

"I'm not scared about Chelsea or the league," The Mirror quotes him as saying. "There is plenty more to play and everyone is going to have difficult games.

"If we win our two games in hand, we are going to be top of the league. But it's better not to talk and to act on the pitch."

Nasri helped City to victory in the League Cup final on Sunday by scoring the second goal in a 3-1 win at Wembley.
