Manchester City's Jesus Navas ruled out of West Bromwich Albion clash

Manuel Pellegrini reveals that Jesus Navas will miss Monday's Premier League match against West Bromwich Albion with an ankle injury.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Jesus Navas will play no part in Monday's Premier League match against West Bromwich Albion.

The 28-year-old is struggling with an ankle problem, while Yaya Toure and David Silva are also on the injury list.

"Yaya Toure, David Silva and Jesus Navas - the three of them are injured at the moment," Pellegrini told reporters. "Yaya is improving, but it is a muscle injury so it is difficult for him to be fit so soon."

City are six points adrift of league leaders Liverpool in the table with one game in hand.
