Manuel Pellegrini coy over Sergio Aguero selection

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini refuses to reveal whether striker Sergio Aguero will feature in the starting lineup against Cardiff City on Saturday.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that he has yet to decide whether striker Sergio Aguero will start against Cardiff City on Saturday.

Aguero returned to the City first team against Blackburn Rovers in midweek after a month out with a calf injury, but despite revealing that the Argentine will feature at the Etihad Stadium, Pellegrini refused to be drawn on how many minutes the striker will play.

The 60-year-old told reporters: "We will see tomorrow. He is on the squad list.

"He is coming back from a long injury, and he had just 20 minutes the other day. We will see what is the best situation for him to continue in the next games."

The 25-year-old has scored 20 goals in 21 appearances for Manchester City during the current campaign.
