Vincent Kompany: 'Manchester City will one day win quadruple'

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany says that it is only a matter of time before the club wins the quadruple.

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has declared that the club could one day complete a historic haul of four major trophies in one season.

The Sky Blues are competing for the Premier League title, FA Cup, League Cup and Champions League, and the Belgian believes that a quadruple is inevitable in the future.

"We can't promise it will happen now, but eventually it will have to happen," BBC Sport quotes Kompany as saying.

"We are the players at the moment who have been chosen to do it. If it's not us then it will be other players. This club definitely has a target to win every competition possible."

City are currently second in the Premier League table, one point behind leaders Arsenal.
