Manchester City full-back Micah Richards has insisted that he will make himself available for England selection if and when the time comes.
The 24-year-old, who has been competing at the London 2012 Games with Team GB under manager Stuart Pearce, was snubbed by Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson for the European Championships in June.
"I have always said I wanted to play for England," the Daily Mail quotes Richards as saying.
"Whether I get picked for the next game, it's not down to me. All I can do is keep knocking on the door. I will never turn my back on England."
Richards is likely to start for Team GB in their quarter-final against South Korea tomorrow.
