Terry Connor has said that neither he nor his team are resigned to relegation ahead of the club's match against Manchester City this afternoon.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers boss, whose side are without a win since he took charge at the club two months ago, admits that he was pleased to hear that his team are eager to give him his first win in charge. However, Connor insists that his men should do that for themselves.
"Fantastic, I'd love that," he said.
"But I want them to win for the good of themselves, for the good of the team, and for the good of the club.
"They'll go out there and they'll give it 100 percent, as they did at Sunderland. I am not resigned to anything."
Wolves are seven points adrift at the bottom of the Premier League table.
