Everton are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph, who could be allowed to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer.

Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Everton.

Delph has spent the last four seasons at the Etihad Stadium, making a total of 89 appearances in all competitions and winning two Premier League titles.

City boss Pep Guardiola would like to keep the 29-year-old, although the Spaniard has acknowledged that the player is keen for more first-team football.

The England international has admirers both on the domestic front and abroad, and The Sun claim that Everton are the latest team to show an interest in his signature.

The report says that the Toffees are willing to pay in the region of £16m for Delph, who has just one year remaining on his contract.
