Championship club Huddersfield Town have signed Jordy Hiwula from Manchester City for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Terriers.
"Jordy has been at Manchester City for most of his life and making the decision to move on for the first time in his professional career is a huge one to make," Huddersfield boss Chris Powell told the club website.
"Players in this situation want to ensure they make the right decision, which is something we fully understand.
"There is a lot to consider and it's important the player is comfortable with the decision to move, so we're always willing to be patient as they make what is often the biggest decision of their careers."
Hiwula, who is Huddersfield's fourth signing of the summer, never made a competitive appearance for City, but did score 10 goals in two separate loan spells with League One sides Yeovil Town and Walsall last season.
