Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has said that he has no intention of leaving the club this summer.
The Belgian international has been a central figure in the Citizens' success in recent years, which has reportedly attracted the attention of Barcelona.
The Spanish champions are looking to shore up their defence after being left short at the back this season, but Kompany has put an end to rumours linking him with a switch to the Camp Nou by announcing that he is happy where he is.
"Speculations and questions about next season. I'm not going anywhere. I love playing for City and I've still got some unfinished business," the 27-year-old posted on Twitter.
Kompany joined the club from Hamburger SV in 2008.
