Manchester City are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Kevin De Bruyne over a new five-year contract at the Etihad Stadium.
The Belgium international joined City from Wolfsburg in 2015 and has made 227 appearances for the Manchester side in all competitions, scoring 58 times and contributing 90 assists in the process.
De Bruyne's existing deal with Pep Guardiola's side is due to run until June 2023, but according to the Daily Mail, the attacker is in line for a new and improved £300,000-a-week deal.
The report claims that City have made 'strong progress' on talks over a new five-year contract, aiding suggestions that the Belgian will finish his career at the Etihad Stadium.
De Bruyne enjoyed an excellent 2019-20 campaign for Guardiola's side, scoring 16 times and providing 23 assists in 48 appearances in all competitions.
The 29-year-old has also contributed one goal and one assist in three Premier League outings this term.
