Bournemouth centre-back Nathan Ake is reportedly a transfer target for Manchester City.
The Premier League champions are believed to be in the market for a new central defender this summer with Vincent Kompany moving on to take up a player-manager role at Anderlecht.
Harry Maguire has been linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium, although Leicester City's reported £90m valuation is expected to see City look elsewhere.
According to L'Equipe, Pep Guardiola's side are 'likely to sign' Ake in this summer's transfer window. The report adds that the Netherlands international could cost the Citizens in the region of £40m.
The 24-year-old spent a period of the 2016-17 season on loan with the Cherries from Chelsea before completing a permanent move to the Vitality Stadium in June 2017.
Tottenham Hotspur have also previously been credited with an interest in the former Feyenoord youngster.
