Roberto Mancini has described Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure as "like a son" and has admitted that he would like to sign the 31-year-old.
The former City coach, now at Inter Milan, has not been shy in expressing his desire to reunite with the Ivory Coast international and believes that he will only join Inter if he moves to Italy.
The Italian originally brought Toure to the Etihad Stadium in 2010 and is reportedly planning to make a bid for the midfielder in the summer.
"Yaya Toure is like a son to me," Mancini told reporters. "If there was a chance of us signing him, we'd be interested."
Toure has sometimes appeared unsettled at City, igniting rumours of a possible departure for the former Barcelona man.
