Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keeping a close eye on Riyad Mahrez's situation at Manchester City.
The 30-year-old has enjoyed bountiful opportunities in the Champions League this season but has only started four of his side's 14 Premier League matches.
Mahrez has been heavily linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium amid his lack of consistent starts, although he has downplayed links with an exit from the Premier League champions.
However, The Sun reports that PSG are keen to swoop for Mahrez in 2022 if the Algerian attacker cannot come to an agreement over fresh terms with Man City.
Mahrez's deal with the Citizens is due to expire in 2023, but the ex-Leicester City man is supposedly keen to remain in Manchester as City 'ramp up' their efforts to tie him down to a new deal.
Mahrez boasts four goals from five starts in the 2021-22 Champions League but has only amassed two goals and one assist from 11 top-flight appearances this term.
