Nicolas Otamendi is seeking a new club after recently being overlooked for selection by Manchester City, according to a report.

Manchester City centre-back Nicolas Otamendi is reportedly readying himself to leave the club at the end of the season.

The 31-year-old has been used 31 times in all competitions by Pep Guardiola this campaign, but he has been out of the starting lineup for the Citizens' last four Premier League matches.

Otamendi was also an unused sub in the Champions League quarter-final second-leg defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, with Guardiola preferring to partner Aymeric Laporte with one of Vincent Kompany or John Stones.

According to The Sun, the Argentina international is looking for a new club as he wants more regular playing time.

Otamendi, who joined City from Valencia in 2015, made 46 appearances in 2017-18 and was named in the PFA Team of the Year.
