Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has reportedly emerged as one of Real Madrid's top summer transfer targets.
The 24-year-old is said to be unsettled in England following the break-up of his marriage and is open to a move back to Spain to be closer to his son.
According to the Daily Star, Los Blancos president Florentino Perez will launch a £45m bid if he is re-elected for another term as president.
Aguero scored 35 goals in all competitions for City last season but has been unable to recapture that form this season, finding the net just 13 times.
He moved to the Etihad Stadium from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2011.
