Roma are reportedly poised to join the race to sign Manchester City defender Micah Richards.
The England international has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium this summer, with Inter Milan also interested in his services.
However, Roma hope to beat their Serie A rivals to landing the 25-year-old and are prepared to make a bid in the region of £12m, reports The People.
Richards is seeking regular first-team football and due to a series of injuries made just seven appearances for the Citizens last season.
