Paris Saint-Germain team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Manchester United

Sports Mole rounds up Paris Saint-Germain's injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Champions League showdown with Manchester United.

Paris Saint-Germain will be aiming to usurp Manchester United as group leaders in the Champions League when the French champions travel to Old Trafford for Wednesday's mouth-watering showdown.

Thomas Tuchel's men picked up a crucial victory over RB Leipzig last week to leave themselves second in Group H ahead of the penultimate round of fixtures, with United currently three points clear at the top after four games.

PSG have already tasted defeat to the Red Devils on their own turf this season, and Tuchel's side also failed to win at the Parc des Princes in their most recent league fixture, with Bordeaux holding the champions to a 2-2 draw on Saturday evening.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up PSG's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's trip to Man United.

Mauro Icardi

Status: Out
Type of injury: Leg
Possible return date: Unknown

Mauro Icardi has only just returned from a long-term injury, but the Argentine will not be involved against United due to an issue in his right leg.

Pablo Sarabia

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

PSG also announced that Pablo Sarabia would be forced to miss this one out due to muscular problems, and it remains to be seen when the Spaniard will return to action.

Keylor Navas

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: December 2 (vs. Manchester United)

PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas missed out the draw over Bordeaux, but Tuchel has expressed optimism over the veteran's availability and he should start in between the sticks at Old Trafford.

Layvin Kurzawa

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: December 2 (vs. Manchester United)

Layvin Kurzawa was also missing from the champions' squad at the weekend, and Tuchel has admitted that the left-back is more uncertain than Navas for Wednesday's trip to United.

Marquinhos

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: December 2 (vs. Manchester United)

PSG took the decision to rest Marquinhos for the visit of Bordeaux after the Brazilian suffered a minor groin injury. However, having had ample time to rest, the defender should be given the green light to line up at Old Trafford.

Julian Draxler

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: December 5 (vs. Montpellier)

Julian Draxler is closing in on a return to action from a thigh injury, but the Germany international is expected to miss this one out. Draxler could return in time for PSG's showdown with Montpellier at the weekend, though.

Thilo Kehrer

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: December 2 (vs. Manchester United)

Thilo Kehrer was expected to undergo surgery on the groin injury he sustained in PSG's clash with Rennes in November, but the German defender has miraculously made the squad for the trip to Old Trafford and could play a part in the game.

Juan Bernat

Status: Out
Type of injury: ACL
Possible return date: Unknown

Juan Bernat is the second of PSG's long-term defensive absentees, with the Spanish full-back suffering an ACL injury on the first day of the season. It will likely be another three or four months before Bernat will be able to return to action.

PSG'S SUSPENSION LIST

PSG have no players suspended for this match. Abdou Diallo was banned for the draw with Bordeaux, while Idrissa Gueye and Presnel Kimpembe had to sit out last week's victory over Leipzig, but all three players are available here.
