Mircea Lucescu: 'David Moyes makes too many changes'

Shakhtar Donetsk coach Mircea Lucescu feels that David Moyes is unsettling his Manchester United players by making too many changes to the starting lineup.

Shakhtar Donetsk coach Mircea Lucescu has suggested that David Moyes has made too many alterations to his starting lineup during the early part of his Manchester United tenure.

The Scot has endured a difficult start at Old Trafford, having seen his new side collect just seven points from a possible 18 in the Premier League.

Discussing that form, Lucescu, who will come up against Moyes in the Champions League tomorrow night, has stated his belief that United's players have suffered as a result of having an unsettled side.

"We have analysed the games of United and noted there are always some changes, you see four or five new players every match," he told reporters.

"Because of rotation the links between players are not very good. Turnover creates a lot of problems for them. In the Ukrainian championship we are not rotating the squad as much so maybe that is why we have been more secure."

Both clubs go in to the match in Ukraine with victories from their opening matches of the competition.
