Robin van Persie fit to face Real Madrid?

Robin van Persie will be fit for Manchester United's Champions League decider against Real Madrid next week, according to reports.

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie will reportedly be fit to face Real Madrid next week despite suffering a hip injury against Queens Park Rangers.

Van Persie was forced to withdraw before the break in Saturday's 2-0 win at Loftus Road after colliding with a camera behind the goal after 23 minutes.

The Dutch striker was replaced by Danny Welbeck but will only be out of training for a maximum of three days with bruising to his hip, according to the Daily Mail.

United host Madrid next Tuesday in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 clash, with the tie finely poised at 1-1 following Welbeck's goal at the Bernabeu.
