Manchester United attacker Amad Diallo is reportedly 'progressing well' in his recovery from the ankle injury that he suffered during a training session in February.
Initially, it had been thought that the issue would rule the Ivory Coast international out for the remainder of the campaign, but the forward hinted at an imminent return with a post on social media last week.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Amad is 'ahead of schedule' when it comes to his recovery, and there is now a strong chance that he will be back on the field before the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
Romano claims that the start of May could mark the 22-year-old's return, meaning that he could be available for the semi-finals and final of the Europa League, should Man United make it that far.
Amad could also be available for the team's last four Premier League matches of the campaign against Brentford, West Ham United, Chelsea and Aston Villa.

Man United attacker Amad 'could return at the start of May'
Man United's Premier League struggles this season have left them down in 13th spot in the table, boasting only 37 points from 29 matches courtesy of a record of 10 wins, seven draws and 12 defeats.
The 20-time English champions are 11 points off fifth-placed Manchester City, but there is a route for them into next season's Champions League, as winning the Europa League would secure a spot at the top table for the 2025-26 season.
Rushing Amad back for the latter stages of the Premier League season will not be in Man United's mind, but it would be a major boost if he were available for the semi-finals and final of the Europa League, should Ruben Amorim's side make it that far.
Man United will face Lyon in the quarter-finals of the Europa League ahead of a potential semi-final against either Rangers or Athletic Bilbao, with the two legs taking place on May 1 and May 8 respectively.
The final of the European competition will then take place on May 21, and the indications are that Amad will return in good time for the conclusion of the tournament, which will be played in Bilbao.
