Good afternoon! Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal will be speaking with the media in around 15 minutes as he prepares his side to face West Ham United in the Premier League this weekend.

It's been a day of remembrance at Old Trafford today as the club has been paying tribute to the victims of the Munich air disaster on the anniversary of the tragedy. The manager was among those paying respects at the club's ground earlier this afternoon:

Ahead of his press conference, Van Gaal has revealed to the club's TV channel that Michael Carrick will be the only player missing from his squad through injury this weekend.

Don't forget, you can follow live updates from this match with Sports Mole from an hour before kickoff on Sunday afternoon. We'll also have team news, player ratings and loads at post-match reaction as well.

Man Utd have a kind run of fixtures coming up, with matches against Burnley, Swansea City and Sunderland coming up later this month, as well as an FA Cup fifth-round tie against Preston.

Right, the manager is ready to to speak to the media, so let's see what he has to say...

Van Gaal was charged by the FA for his post-match comments following the FA Cup, and he starts by telling reporters: "In 30 years as a trainer-coach I have never been charged. I do not think I said something wrong. I said in the press conference before the game that everything is in favour of the underdog."

On the sides recent form, the manager says: "I am never satisfied, we are very good, but we can improve."

The manager is asked about his side's playing style, and he replies: "It's not about playing with or without wingers, or with three or four defenders. It's about an attractive playing style."

Van Gaal isn't getting ahead of himself in the FA Cup: "There are still three matches to go until the final, and that's our goal. We shall see if we reach it."

Van Gaal is asked whether he plans to contest his Fa charge, and he confirms: "Of course I will. I have done nothing wrong!"

When asked about the victims of the Munich air disaster, Van Gaal simply says: "They brought of lot of joy to the people of that time. They played a big part in the history of this club and I think we must always remember that."

Well, that's all from a not particularly chatty Van Gaal today. So, join us again on Sunday to see whether United can maintain their strong recent form. Thanks for joining me this afternoon. Goodbye.
