Manchester United eyeing Memphis Depay?

Manchester United eye Memphis Depay as their first signing in the summer transfer window, as manager Louis van Gaal looks to strengthen his attacking options.

Manchester United are reportedly eyeing PSV Eindhoven's Memphis Depay as their first signing of the summer transfer window, as Louis van Gaal looks to strengthen his squad.

The winger was linked with several clubs throughout the January transfer window, with Tottenham Hotspur rumoured to be willing to pay £15m for the young Dutchman.

According to The Sun, the 20-year-old could be a bit cheaper in the summer and will only cost the Red Devils £10m.

Sources close to the player have reportedly suggested that a deal will happen, with Depay's relationship with Van Gaal playing a major role.

Depay, who has been dubbed 'the young Cristiano Ronaldo', has an impressive goals tally this season, scoring 16 goals in 22 appearances for PSV.
