Rio Ferdinand admits that he wants to beat brother Anton Ferdinand when QPR travel to Old Trafford this week.

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has said that he wants to beat brother Anton Ferdinand whenever the duo meet on the football pitch.

Rio, whose side welcome Queens Park Rangers to Old Trafford this week, admits that he once went "into hiding" after the Red Devils lost to Anton's former club West Ham United.

"It's special if we win," he told the club's official website. "But if we lose I go into hiding and don't come out.

"I have blanked friends at Upton Park before because we have not got the right result. I have just got on the bus. I get in a sulk sometimes because I want to win."

Meanwhile, Anton insists that the game is about much more than him and his brother.
