Ryan Giggs delighted with Swansea City promotion

Ryan Giggs is looking forward to visiting Wales for Manchester United's league match against Swansea City on Saturday.

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has revealed that it is "fantastic" that Swansea City are in the Premier League.

United, who have never travelled out of England for a Premier League fixture, take on City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Giggs, who made 64 appearances for Wales before his retirement in 2007, is looking forward to making the trip to his home country.

"It's fantastic news for Welsh football that Swansea are doing so well and, as a Welshman, I'm very much looking forward to Manchester United visiting Wales for the first ever time in the Premier League," he said.

"Swansea is a great city and the Swans have tremendous support in a terrific stadium. All Premier League games are tough and I'm sure the match against the Swans will be no different."

The Red Devils are currently second in the Premier League table, while the Swans occupy tenth.
