A horse owned by Manchester United players past and present was victorious for the first time at Bangor today.
Cuban Piece, ridden by champion jockey Tony McCoy, ran out the winner in the 2.40 at the North Wales course.
"The lads had a winner at Bangor today," United striker Michael Owen wrote on his Twitter. "Cuban Piece is owned by Giggs, Me, Scholesy, Gaz Nev, O'Shea, Butty, Wes Brown and Carrick. Big thanks to @donaldmccain and @AP_McCoy for their efforts. It was our first winner together."
Cuban Piece started the race a 7-2 second favourite.
