Olivier Giroud has admitted that he is under pressure to replace Robin van Persie as the main goalscorer for Arsenal.
The Frenchman scored his first Premier League goal this season in the Gunners' 3-1 away win against West Ham United on Saturday.
"Van Persie is now gone, there are many expectations about me," he told RMC.
"It took me a little time to adapt. But I know my qualities, and I will continue like this, hoping there are plenty of other goals that will come.
"It is clear that this goal [against West Ham] is important for me. Especially before the international break, it gives me confidence, even if I had been decisive four times before."
Giroud joined Arsenal from French champions Montpellier in the summer, while Van Persie left Arsene Wenger's side for Manchester United.
