Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has denied claims of a rift between himself and Cristiano Ronaldo involving the club captaincy.
On Thursday night, it was reported that Maguire felt 'undermined' by Ronaldo's influence in the United dressing room, the suggestion being that he was losing respect as club leader.
Furthermore, it was added that the Portuguese superstar had made an effort to get all of his teammates pulling in the right direction, rather than Maguire.
However, Maguire has taken to social media to dismiss those claims, saying that everyone at the Premier League giants are "united".
I've seen a lot of reports about this club that aren't true and this is another. Not going to start posting about everything that is written but I needed to make this one clear. We're united and focused on Sunday. Enjoy your day everyone 💪🏻 @ManUtd https://t.co/YxLhQn8pqf

Earlier this week, teammate Marcus Rashford also took the same approach to deny that there was a divide within the United dressing room.
