Henrikh Mkhitaryan: 'I won't give in at Manchester United'

Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan says that he has no intention of leaving Manchester United despite a difficult start to his Old Trafford career.

Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has said that he is "not going to give in" at Manchester United after struggling for playing time under Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese has said that Mkhitaryan has 'not met expectations' since making the switch from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, with the playmaker being given just one start in all competitions.

However, Mkhitaryan has suggested that he has no intention of leaving his new club after securing what he describes as a "dream" move.

The 27-year-old is quoted by Bild as saying: "I went a long way to play Manchester United, so nothing will prevent me from achieving my dream.

"I get little time on the field, but I'm not going to give in. I will find strength to reach my goal."

Mkhitaryan has not played in the Premier League since United's fixture with Manchester City on September 10.
