Rio Ferdinand has said that there is no better place to win as a Manchester United player than at Anfield.
England's two most successful clubs meet on Merseyside tomorrow (Saturday), and the England defender is expecting an intense atmosphere.
"Anfield is a hostile place, but there is no better place to win at as a Manchester United player," he said.
"Regardless of what part of the season it is, going to Anfield is always huge for us.
"They are our local rivals. It is a game we look forward to and one I am sure the fans are really excited about."
Meanwhile, United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has called on fans to respect each other's histories during the match and avoid distasteful chants.
