Caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly remains unsure over whether he will be named as Manchester United manager on a permanent basis.

Manchester United have reportedly made no move to name Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the club's new manager on a permanent basis.

Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in December, and the Norwegian has recorded 14 wins from 18 matches while in temporary charge of United.

Reports have frequently suggested that it is only a matter of time before United confirm that Solskjaer will remain in the position on a long-term contract, but it appears that may not be the case.

According to the Daily Mail, club officials are yet to offer Solskjaer an extension to his current deal which ends at the end of the season.

The 46-year-old has guided United up to fifth place in the Premier League standings, while the North-West giants have also reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup and Champions League.
