Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up in Saturday's Premier League clash with Norwich City.

Manchester United will be without a number of players ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Norwich City at Old Trafford.

Raphael Varane and Scott McTominay were both ruled out of last weekend's clash with Everton through injury, and the pair will again be sidelined for this contest.

Fred picked up a hip issue against the Toffees and is also out, so Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba could line up as the midfield two for the 20-time English champions.

Edinson Cavani is definitely still unavailable with a calf problem, while Luke Shaw could miss the rest of the season following a leg operation.

Mason Greenwood is also still out due to a club suspension, but Cristiano Ronaldo is fit despite suffering a nasty gash to his shin during the clash with Everton last weekend.

Interim head coach Ralf Rangnick is expected to make changes from the defeat to Frank Lampard's side, with Diogo Dalot bidding to return at right-back, while Anthony Elanga could come in for Marcus Rashford.

Alex Telles will continue at left-back in Shaw's absence, though, and Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho and Ronaldo are certain starters for the home side in a forward area.

Manchester United possible starting lineup: De Gea; Dalot, Lindelof, Maguire, Telles; Matic, Pogba; Elanga, Fernandes, Sancho; Ronaldo
