Arsenal lead race to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey?

Arsenal reportedly move ahead of Manchester United and Chelsea in the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey.

Arsenal have reportedly emerged as favourites to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey.

Bailey has previously been linked with Manchester United - who allegedly wanted to sign the 20-year-old before he linked up with Leverkusen in January - while Chelsea are said to have had an offer of £22m rejected for the attacker.

However, according to The Mirror, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is an admirer of Bailey and is looking to push through a £30m deal for the Jamaican.

Bailey has enjoyed an excellent few months with Leverkusen, with six goals and four assists coming from 14 appearances in the Bundesliga.

However, the German club remain in a strong position over the player's future with four-and-a-half years still remaining on his contract.
