Bolton Wanderers 'want Manchester United's Demetri Mitchell on loan'

Bolton Wanderers are reportedly keen to sign Manchester United defender Demetri Mitchell on loan for the 2018-19 campaign.

Bolton Wanderers are reportedly keen to sign Manchester United defender Demetri Mitchell on loan.

Mitchell, 21, has been involved in United's preparations for the 2018-19 campaign, but it is understood that he is once again not in the first-team plans of Jose Mourinho.

A number of clubs are believed to be interested in signing the left-back on loan, but according to the Daily Mail, the strongest interest has arrived from Championship outfit Bolton.

Mitchell, who made his first-team debut for United during the 2016-17 season, spent the second half of last term on loan at Scottish Premiership club Hearts, where he made 11 appearances in all competitions.

Bolton opened their 2018-19 Championship campaign with an impressive 2-1 win at West Bromwich Albion last weekend.
