Chelsea are reportedly preparing to step up their pursuit of Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni amid firm interest from Italian champions Juventus.
The 21-year-old, who made his France debut at the start of September, has scored once in 10 appearances for his Ligue 1 outfit at the start of the 2021-22 campaign.
Chelsea and Manchester United were both linked with the midfielder over the summer, but the transfer window closed with the Frenchman still at Monaco.
Tchouameni could be on the move in 2022, though, and according to Tuttomercatoweb journalist Nicolo Ceccarini, Chelsea will step up their interest amid competition from Juventus.
Ceccarini claims that Thomas Tuchel's side are planning to make a 'very attractive proposal' for the midfielder, who has featured on 55 occasions for Monaco in all competitions.
Tchouameni played in all three of his country's September internationals, debuting against Bosnia-Herzegovina on September 1 before featuring against Ukraine and Finland.
