Goalkeeper Dean Henderson is reportedly expected to request a departure from Manchester United next month.
The 24-year-old has struggled to dislodge David De Gea from the number one position this season, the England stopper being restricted to just two appearances in all competitions.
Recently-appointed interim boss Ralf Rangnick has talked up the need of requiring several quality goalkeepers in the squad, an indication that he has no plans to part ways with Henderson.
Nevertheless, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Henderson is ready to depart Old Trafford in January or during the summer.
Much will allegedly depend on what offers are received at the turn of the year, and whether United are able to find a suitable replacement.
Romano adds that Ajax, one of the clubs who have been linked with Henderson, are yet to make an approach.
